Warranty Options

All Kolar warranty options include unlimited toll-free telephone support to assist customers in troubleshooting/ identifying any failed hardware components covered by our warranty. Kolar's toll free number is 800-264-6752 nationwide, or you can log on to www.kolars.com and enter your service request via our "Help Desk" located under Support. 

     Standard Warranty Plans:


Parts Cross-Ship(1,2)
Once a hardware failure is diagnosed, Kolar ships a replacement component/part via FedEx or other rapid carrier. The customer is then responsible for returning the failed component/part to Kolar via customer's preferred shipping method. 

Parts and Labor Depot(1,2)
Once a hardware failure is diagnosed, the customer ships the failed computer to Kolar via customer's preferred shipping method. Kolar provides any parts and labor necessary to repair the device. Kolar then boxes the repaired unit and returns it to the customer. 

     Premium Warranty Plans:


On-Site Technician Response(1)
Once a hardware failure is diagnosed, Kolar dispatches a technician to visit customer's location and perform repair work on site. 
hardware failures are covered during on-site visit. Software and application issues or user training will be billed as a seperate service if requested and approved by customer. 

On-Site Exchange Computer(s)(1,2)
Kolar provides fully-configured on-site exchange computer(s) (at our customer's location) for exchange in the event of a hardware failure.
The customer is responsible for returning the failed computer to Kolar via customer's perferred shipping method. Kolar provides and parts and labor necessary to repair the device. Kolar then boxes and ships the repaired unit back to the customer to be used in future exchange transactions.
Since Kolar allows identically configured units to be exchanged, Kolar's Premium Warranty guarantees a faultless hardware platform without component/driver continuity issues or the usual disruption of multiple diagnosis/repair visits.


Overnight Exchange Computer(s)(1)
Kolar pre-configures identical units which are then consigned to Kolar inventory for rapid shipping (per our customer's notification) in the event of a hardware failure.
Once a hardware failure is diagnosed, Kolar ships an identically configured replacement computer overnight (FedEx) to arrive at customer's location next business day (where available). Customer is then responsible for notifying Kolar of its designated courier of the failed unit's availability for pick-up. A Kolar courier will then return the failed device to Kolar's nearest service center for repairs. Once repaired, the unit will be assigned to Kolar inventory, ready for future exhange transactions.
